Security Chorus at the Blanton Museum of Art, 2018, Performance, 2 hours, Blanton Museum of Art (documentation)
I created a performance with Blanton Museum of Art security workers, who moved throughout the galleries of the museum spaces, offering a stream-of-consciousness narration of their workplace via headset radios. From the museum mezzanine, I live-mixed the performer’s voices, which played back through the galleries. We composed an elliptical dispatch: a chorus of professional narrators.
Featuring Adrian Armstrong, Dana Suleymanova, Szivan, and Mario Villanueva
